We are David and Brenda Nelson, the owners of D&B Nelson Edible Landscapes of Texas. Our goal is to help people become healthier and more self-reliant through the installation of Edible Landscapes.
David holds a bachelor's degree in Ag Economics from Texas A&M University, class of '86. Having grown up in a farming family, he has always had a passion for all things related to agriculture. He farmed rice in the Katy area for 20 years, owned a landscape irrigation business, worked for a Case IH dealer as a precision farming specialist, and has always enjoyed gardening in his spare time.
Brenda holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University, class of '90, and a Master's degree in Adult Education from Texas A&M University, class of '18. She shares David's passion for gardening fruits, vegetables, and flowers, and also enjoys crafting in her spare time. Brenda provides education for clients about how to care for their edible landscapes and manages the website and Facebook page.
David and Brenda married in 1994 and have two adult sons. They currently live in Pleasanton, Texas which is 25 miles south of San Antonio.
